Frequently Asked Questions

When will Heirloom be available?

We are currently in a private beta phase with select legal firms and families. We plan to open the platform to our waitlist members in Q3 2026. Join the waitlist to secure your spot and receive early access updates.

Is my data secure?

Absolutely. Security is our foundation. We use AES-256 encryption for data at rest and TLS 1.3 for data in transit. For our "Legal Vault" feature, we employ zero-knowledge encryption, meaning not even Heirloom employees can access your most sensitive documents without your explicit permission.

Can I store legal documents like wills?

Yes. Heirloom is designed specifically to handle sensitive legal documents such as wills, deeds, trusts, and medical directives. You can designate specific "Trustees" (e.g., your lawyer or executor) who will be granted access only upon verified events (such as proof of death or incapacitation).

How do time-triggered messages work?

Our "Time Capsule" feature allows you to record video messages, write letters, or attach files that are scheduled for delivery at a future date (e.g., a child's 18th birthday) or upon a specific trigger event. These messages are stored securely and delivered automatically to the verified recipient's email.

Who owns the data?

You do. Always. Unlike social media platforms, we do not sell your data or claim ownership of your content. You can export your entire archive or delete your account permanently at any time.
